Deputy Early Years Manager/Lieutenant Curator
Our client an exciting new concept launch is looking for a Deputy Early Years Manager/Lieutenant Curator (or LC for short) to support the Head Curator in managing childcare for 0–8-year-olds, supporting on day-to-day duties, they will provide administrative support, and have a love for sales and parent liaising. The role requires a creative thinker, someone who is organised and commercial with an open mind, and a desire to shape something new. Previous experience of being in a senior management role in nurseries and childcare is a must.
Their key responsibility is to help deliver an exceptionally warm and creative offering to our 3 core groups: children, their team, and parents. First and foremost, they must love getting down and messy with children – we want someone who truly knows what it is to nurture and play at their level. Team is a very close second – without great people to support you, you cannot make the dream work. Our LC will help to build a stellar team, deliver awesome training, and inspire new recruits to develop innovative content, helping them become exceptional. Parents are our third pillar. The LC will embody all that is us, immersing parents into our ethos, so that they truly adopt our vision, love it, and support our unique approach to childcare.
•Promote high standards of quality at all times, always pushing boundaries to be better.
•Implement, develop, and train up the wider team on new plans, materials and policies.
•Ensure all resources are in line with our ethos and approach to Early Years Education.
•Work closely with the marketing team to ensure the nursery is at capacity at all times, giving accurate availability forecasting 3 months out.
•Follow up any leads generated and manage the enquiry process hitting the company conversion to actual targets.
•Conduct fabulous tours to capture the attention of parents making us their nursery of choice creating a buzz in the nursery world.
•Accurately processing monthly invoices and reconciling to payments received correspond.
•Ensure an efficient timetable is in place to enable the programming to meet targets and manage optimal staffing levels.
•Ensure practice and provision in the nursery meet the expectations and requirements of senior management, parents and children.
•Manage children’s safety, ensuring the team both understand & follow Safeguarding procedures.
•Will deputise for the HC when they are away and will take on the day-to-day management
•Have previous experience working with children aged 0-8 years.
They offer a competitive salary c. £26,000.00 – £30,000.00 p/a with eligibility for performance-related bonus. Holiday entitlement of 20 days plus bank holidays. Real career progression, lots of opportunities in a rapidly expanding company and lots of extra company benefits available.
