As an Online Learning Developer, you will play a key part in enacting this commitment – working alongside academic colleagues and DELTA (Department of Learning, Teaching and Assessment) to implement institutional standards and advancing the quality and distinctiveness of the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedic Practice’s educational portfolios.

You will play a key part in supporting the development of the School’s portfolio of online programmes and provide support for both academic and support staff in the production and delivery of high quality learning materials across a variety of platforms which advance the School’s reputation for quality in learning and teaching.

You will have relevant work experience and possess significant knowledge of instructional design techniques and experience of applying these to design and develop effective, engaging online course content and assessments. You will be experienced in providing first line technical support together with specialist knowledge of technology enhanced learning, as well as audio/video production and editing, and advanced knowledge of MS Office and HTML.

Salary on first appointment is normally to the bottom of the scale, although in exceptional circumstances an appointment further up the scale may be considered.
