The post holder is expected to be part of a team working to develop novel technologies for low field Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The post holder will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing reconstruction techniques, including machine learning based approaches, to fully exploit data redundancies (spatial, temporal, contrasts, etc.) to significantly reduce the total scan time and improve image quality in low field MRI systems. The post will use the infrastructure provided by the School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences and will be based at St Thomas’ Hospital.
