We are seeking to appoint a Section Manager for Early Years, to be responsible for planning, implementing and delivering courses within the Early Years Section including full time, Work Based Learning, Commercial and employer focused courses.

Reporting to the Head of School, you will develop and integrate provision across the Section to reflect the needs of local industry. You will build on the employer relations within the School and teach on a range of courses including full time Certificates, Diplomas and other Vocationally Relevant Qualifications. You would also line manage a team of Lecturers and a Course Team Leader.

You should be qualified to degree level in a relevant subject area, together with a recognised advanced level teaching qualification for FE (DET or equivalent). You will have a background in Early Years provision and at least 3 years’ successful teaching experience in this subject area. You will be able to demonstrate good teaching and communication skills, a clear understanding of current and future curriculum, funding and quality assurance issues.
