Job description

The University of Law – Join ULaw Online, our newest campus

The University of Law (ULaw) is one of the UK’s leading providers of legal and business education. We bring together teaching of the highest quality, a focus on practical skills and innovative learning styles, delivering perfect preparation for a career in legal practice or the global world of business. We are also renowned for our professional development portfolio. We operate from 15 campuses throughout England and 2 international campuses in Hong Kong and Berlin.

Our new dedicated bespoke Online Campus, ULaw Online, continues to see rapid growth and success in our online study mode.We understand that today’s students and tomorrow’s professionals want a choice in how, where and when they learn – ULaw Online provides that.

We already have an experienced and committed core of people working in this digital campus – do you want to become part of this dedicated team and help build our new world of learning?

Permanent, employed roles (part time or full time opportunities):-

  • Tutors and Senior Tutors

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about education, who believe that the student experience should be second to none and are excited about using technology to do that. You do not need teaching experience – we will provide all the training you need – but you must be invested in delivering the highest standard of legal education, using existing and emerging technology.

You will be a qualified lawyer with proven successful practice experience, supported by a desire to help our students achieve that same career.

ULaw Online campus staff are home-based, but required to attend any of our campuses for meetings and training as required.

We offer an excellent range of competitive benefits including 35 days annual leave, private medical insurance and life assurance. As part of the tutor development programme, we will also support you to study for a recognised teaching qualification within your first 18 months of employment.

No agencies please.

Some posts within the University are subject to a DBS check – you will be notified of this during the application process.

As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. However, as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) individuals are currently under-represented within the University – which does not reflect our diverse student body – we would particularly welcome applications from BAME candidates. All appointments will be made on merit
